Sampling techniques. The theory of sampling. Probability distributions. Parameter estimation. Hypothesis testing. Effect size and statistical power. Parametric testing of hypotheses about means, proportions, variances, correlations. Testing of the differences between the statistics of two or more samples (t-test, analysis of variance). Analysis in multi-factorial research designs. Resampling, robust and nonparametric methods. Chi-square test.
