Introduction in historiography and its problems, presentation of specific historical sources for ethnology and cultural anthropology. Different views on history of discipline. »Prehistory« of ethnological and anthropological thoughts until 19th Century, with special emphasis on development in period of Humanism and Renaissance, Protestantism, Barock, Enlightenment and Romanticism with detail presentation of some important representatives of ethnological/anthropological representatives of the discipline. Institutional and uninstitutional frames of discipline development at the end of 19th and 20th Century and most important ethnologists and anthropologists of the period. Ethnology and cultural anthropology at the end of 20th and beginning of 21st Century.
