Content
The second cycle (Master) study programme Sociology of Culture, Sociology of Culture - Single course is designed for a broad social-humanistic and theoretically sharpened study of culture, based on a deepening of the chosen field of gender studies, media and cultural studies, religious studies, or globalisation studies. Upon completion of their studies, students acquire skills that equip them to independently manage, organise, analyse, and research contemporary cultural phenomena and social phenomena. The programme places particular emphasis on interdisciplinarity in research and on developing practical applications of cultural analysis for the needs of a wide range of cultural organizations, institutions, media and publishing houses, consultancies and agencies, public institutions, and NGOs.

P = Lectures; S = Seminars; V = Tutorials; D = Other forms of organized study work (practical training, observations, performances, field work, etc.); KT = ECTS credit (Credit points according to the European Credit Transfer System). 1 ECTS credit means 25 to 30 hours of student workload.
