Content
The first cycle (undergraduate), single course study programme Sociology of culture provides students with basic knowledge of social processes, the distribution of social power and culture more broadly, as well as with an in-depth sociological analysis of different cultural practices. This includes an analysis of the social, ideological, material, and institutional conditions of the everyday practice and popular culture, as well as various artistic genres such as film, theatre, music, fiction, etc. Furthermore, students acquire additional methodological and practical knowledge necessary for an independent or professional teamwork in the broader field of culture.
