The course Modern Greek III continues the course Modern Greek II. It consists of lectures and practical classes (both in Modern Greek).
The topics to be studies within the lectures include:
- selected chapters from Modern Greek descriptive grammar: the tense and the aspect; transitivity and intransitivity; the use of archaic conjungations and declensions in standard Modern Greek.
The practical classes are dedicated to:
- advancing the knowledge of Modern Greek vocabulary and phraseology
- improving the abilities of oral and written communication in standard Modern Greek
Student's individual work is dedicated to analyzing selected literary and non-literary texts, written in Standard Modern Greek.
