The starting points and assumptions of metaphysical thought. Major changes in the development of metaphysics.

The development of metaphysical thought in the 20th and 21st century. Metaphysics in modern and postmodern. The difference between a-metaphysical and post-metaphysical thought.

Critique of metaphysics in 19th Century Philosophy. The idea of the "death" of God. The idea of the eternal return of the same.

Metaphysics and the linguistic turn. An attempt to rehabilitate metaphysics in contemporary philosophy based on a critique of traditional metaphysics.

Forms of transcending and/or transforming metaphysical thought. Metaphysics, ethics and utopia. The tradition of pragmatism and its relation to metaphysics.
